This morning when my two sons woke up, they asked if I could show them photos from when they were born. Specifically, they wanted to see how their umbilical cords looked! We then went on a journey of both of their births, as well as their older sister's. I retold them a summarized version
of how they joined our family. In those moments of sharing our family story with our kids, we are reinforcing and creating a strong sense of belonging and identity.
